Scarf with artwork of imaginary flowers together with checks and stripes, white and lemon yellow colors that create a warm still fresh spring feeling. The original is painted with gouache in a warm 60’s/70’s colour scheme.
"I wanted to incorporate my interest in pattern design when making the motif for this scarf. I had a vision of fields being filled with different patterns, so that when it’s being worn it shows a more abstract picture, while if it hangs on a wall you see the figurative motif of two people being wrapped up closely together. It shows the spring sun that is just about to get warm and the two persons that are holding each other up between the early blossoms." - Hanna Peterson
